😎🐫🎤 Christ’s peace and presence be with you. This past week went by in a flash. It’s hard to believe it’s already time to share with you again. Every single one of us can look back at the events of our lives and start connecting the dots. This action led to this reaction, which lead to these words being said, which lead to this other action. I’m sure some of those are happier memories than others. Paul tells us in Romans 5:1-5, about a chain reaction that God opens up to you.
1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom we have gained access by faith to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.
3 Not only that, but we even boast of our afflictions, knowing that affliction produces endurance,
4 and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope,
5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the holy Spirit that has been given to us.
Affliction produces endurance.
Endurance develops proven character.
Proven character produces hope.
With all these step-by-step situations, God provides us the opportunity to grow through these steps, because He knows that we need each of the foundational elements to be able to fully receive and develop each of the gifts He gives us. Each of these gifts are a lesson, a tool that will take us to the next level, which eventually will lead us to our eternity with our Lord.
If the step you’re on is fun and enjoyable, Praise the Lord!
If the step you’re on is a bit clouded and unclear, Praise the Lord!
If the step you’re on is rough and you’re in need some sanding, Praise the Lord!
If you progressed to the next step, Praise the Lord!
At every step of your journey, you have reason to Praise the Lord, because that step has brought you one more step closer to your eternity with our Lord.
