😎🐫🎤 I woke up with this song playing in my head. I enjoy mornings like that when God is talking with you before you’re even awake. 

The message in this song is something we all need to hear from time to time. It’s so easy to let our past choices dictate who WE THINK we are. But God has greater plans. All His best disciples were, are and forever will be sinners. Broken by our own choices. But God has always been, is now and forever will be at our side with His arm around us. All we need to do is turn to Him and hug Him right back.

😎🐫🎤 Being born into a Catholic family, we went to Mass every weekend. For years you could say I was just going through the motions, but God was working on me even when I wasn’t working my way toward Him. There were different periods in my life that I felt closer to Him than others, but it wasn’t until I CHOSE to truly seek Him that I realized what I was missing. I experience God’s love, forgiveness and grace every day.  Sometimes you just don’t know what you’re missing. What I’ve realized is how important it is to have others to take this journey with, to ask questions of, and to share your aha God moments with. He is so worth the effort. Seek Him first and talk with Him. Then….listen to His loving words.

😎🐫🎤 What does God’s voice sound like to you?  For me it’s rolling thunder and rain on my roof, birds singing, a flowing creek, the buzz of a bee, the rustling of leaves in the wind, the comfort of silence when I’m spending time with a friend.

😎🐫🎤 Something that I’ve really come to recognize and am thankful for lately is the incredible joy and peace that comes over my life when I say yes and act upon God’s calling.  Last Friday I was flipping through the radio stations on my way home and came across this song on a regular channel. It made me stop to make sure it wasn’t a Christian station. I hope you enjoy this song too.

😎🐫🎤 If today you find yourself on this side of heaven…rejoice, praise God and trust in the Lord. In all you do, acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.  He has created you for a purpose that NO ONE ELSE can fill. Think about that…a purpose that no one else can fill. God is counting on you to say YES. But don’t worry, when you say yes, He will provide you (in due time) all that you will need for this journey. Sometimes it will hurt to grow, sometimes it will be fun and other days it will seem like nothing is happening at all. But know that He is with you always. 

I usually don’t watch the videos to the songs I send out, because I feel they detract from the message. I did watch this one and it just confirmed that the video can take away from the message. If you aren’t driving, close your eyes as you listen and really let this song sink in. I’m blessed to be a part of your journey.
