😎🐫🎤 Christ’s peace and presence be with you.  Today’s message is short and to the point, but it’s something that keeps coming back and is a sticking point in my mind.  Our lives are built upon many different seasons and some of those seasons are different prayers we pray and the way we pray them.  This week, a prayer that was brought back to my attention is the prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel.

Saint Michael the Archangel,

Defend us in battle.

Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil;

May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;

And do thou, O prince of the heavenly host, by the powers of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen

The line that keeps coming back to me is “all the evil sprits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls.”

I have a shirt that says “Not all who wander are lost, some are just looking for rocks.”  With the Saint Michael prayer and that shirt in mind, I thought this would be a great quote to put on a shirt:

“Not all who wander are lost, some are seeking the ruin of souls.”

Be on the watch for and mindful of Satan and all the evil spirits seeking the ruin of your soul.  Keep the Lord close and fight to keep your relationship with Him strong.  The more you fight for your relationship with the Lord, the more you will recognize how He is fighting to keep His relationship with you.

Bless others and be blessed.
