šš« For all you Star Wars fans. May the fourth be with you.
The more I experience life, the more I realize how true the quote below is. But it’s not just truth, it’s an incredible blessing if you allow these lessons to penetrate your life and become a part of your daily walk.
#StormieOmartian ā The Power of a Praying Woman
I also want to share some pictures I took last weekend. I enjoy finding God in nature.
šš«š¤ What does God’s voice sound like to you? For me it’s rolling thunder and rain on my roof, birds singing, a flowing creek, the buzz of a bee, the rustling of leaves in the wind, the comfort of silence when I’m spending time with a friend.
šš«š¤ Something that I’ve really come to recognize and am thankful for lately is the incredible joy and peace that comes over my life when I say yes and act upon God’s calling. Last Friday I was flipping through the radio stations on my way home and came across this song on a regular channel. It made me stop to make sure it wasn’t a Christian station. I hope you enjoy this song too.
šš«š¤ If today you find yourself on this side of heaven…rejoice, praise God and trust in the Lord. In all you do, acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. He has created you for a purpose that NO ONE ELSE can fill. Think about that…a purpose that no one else can fill. God is counting on you to say YES. But don’t worry, when you say yes, He will provide you (in due time) all that you will need for this journey. Sometimes it will hurt to grow, sometimes it will be fun and other days it will seem like nothing is happening at all. But know that He is with you always.
I usually don’t watch the videos to the songs I send out, because I feel they detract from the message. I did watch this one and it just confirmed that the video can take away from the message. If you aren’t driving, close your eyes as you listen and really let this song sink in. I’m blessed to be a part of your journey.Ā
šš«š¤ It feels like I have so much running through my head right now. We are in the midst of the holiest week of the year. Holy Thursday Christ shows us during the last supper, while humbling Himself and washing the feet of those around Him, that if we are to lead with Christ, we are to serve with a willing, gracious, unjudgmental heart. At the same table, He also announces that one of those closest to Him will betray Him and another deny Him. For me, Good Friday is extremely humbling. I truly can’t even imagine all the pain Christ chose to endure because of His love for the Father and each and every one of us. I thank God He did, so that we can experience the forgiveness, redemption and glorious resurrection of Christ.
I finished reading a book last night that I would highly recommend to everyone that hasn’t read it yet, Discerning the Voice of God by Prisilla Shirer. The final chapter led me to today’s song and it goes hand in hand with Holy Week as we wait upon the Lord. But we can’t just wait. We have to be preparing ourselves while we wait. Interesting enough as if it’s all coordinated by God, here is today’s calendar message. I know this is a lot today, but they all tie together.
In the end we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends. – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
I read these words the other day when I was doing a continuing education study about child abuse. Yes, these words apply in abuse situations, but I had to stop and ponder all the words I’ve left unspoken.
How many times has God put me in a situation and allowed me to be His love and His spoken word for others, but I shamefully said nothing for FEAR of not knowing the Bible, His Word, as well as I thought I should.
Fear is not from the Lord. Especially fear of speaking His word. I pray that when confronted with this fear, I will no longer allow the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm control and beat me down, that I have the courage and strength to choose God first and above all. I also pray this for you.
šš«š¤ Good morning. I want to share this song as well as the message from my daily quotes.
Forgiveness can only change you in one direction and that is for good. Accept the grace God is so freely giving to you. Offer it to yourself and pass it on to others. Have a blessed day.
šāļøš«š¤ In all the run, run, run and go, go, go we need to remember who our one true source of peace, calm and happiness is. Take a moment to just breathe. This video may take a moment to load. I wonder if that might be by design so that you calm and center yourself before it starts.
