šš«š¤ Christās peace be with you. Thereās a sign in the yard of a property that we drive by on our way to the park to walk. The sign simply statesā¦āWhat if?ā The sign is definitely working because it certainly makes me think and it brought me to this point of sharing it with you. What if what? That sign is meant for every one of us. Those two simple words, six letters, will mean something different to each of us that read this.
What if I didnāt go to work the day after my divorce hearing? I wouldnāt have met my husband of 20 years.
What if I wasnāt in such a hurry to get home with a new board game that Christmas Eve? I wouldnāt have gotten a speeding ticket.
What if I wasnāt erroneously hired for a job? I would not have been offered an even better job to try to correct the error.
What if I didnāt allow God to be a part of my life? When I put distance between us, I was more anxious, fearful, insecure, angryā¦
What if I decided I didnāt want to take the time to write to you today? (Actually, the thought crossed my mind.) Honestly, I donāt know the answer to that, but maybe you wouldnāt have taken the time to talk with God today about your What Ifs.
What if the only reason for me writing today is so that you take a moment and acknowledge God in your life. If thatās the only reason, then Iām pleased to have been His instrument.
As the song goes:
āNo regrets in the end.
I wanna know I got no what ifsā

#MatthewWest ā What If
Thank God for all the “what if” in all of our lives. As I think back on my what if, I can see how He turn all my mess to messages of great possibilities.
